Hackmotion Player - Getting Started

1. Download the HackMotion Player app from Apple App Store FROM HERE

2. Make sure your iPhone/iPad Bluetooth is turned on.

3. Turn on Hackmotion by pressing the sensor’s power button. LED indicator will start to pulsate.

4. Open the Hackmotion Player App on your device

5.Connection to Bluetooth will happen automatically once the app is open and sensor is turned on, blue LED indicator will light up

It is not required to pair the sensor. Hackmotion sensor will never appear among your Bluetooth devices, it is connected automatically.
If connection does not happen automatically, turn iPhone/iPad Bluetooth off and on again.

When opening the app for the first time, you will be asked to allow it to use Bluetooth. If you accidentally denied Bluetooth access, go to Settings – HackMotion to turn it back on.

  1. Open the HackMotion App on your device.
  2. Select “Clubface Control” from the home screen
  3. Click the “Start Session” button
  4. Select your playing side (The illustrative guide on the right will indicate on which hand the sensor has to be worn based on the selected playing side)
  5.  Press the “Start” button

It’s recommended to rotate your sensor hand in the air for a few seconds BEFORE every calibration for extra accuracy.

  1. Click on “Calibrate” icon, on the right side of the screen.
  2. Place your wrist flat – with the middle finger in line with your forearm. You can do this either using a simple eye test or if you want even more accurate results, you can use a flat surface, like a table.
  3. Press the button “It’s in position”.
  4. Change your flat wrist to a slightly extended position. It does not matter how much extension you add, but you should aim to move the hand upwards about halfway to fully extended. It is important not to hinge the wrist sideways, only upwards.
  5.  Press the button “It’s in position”

Make a swing and you will be able start capturing and analysing your shots
