Once you enter your email address in the HackMotion app, a sign-in link will be sent to your inbox. Once you open it (from the same device where the HackMotion app is installed), you will be automatically signed in without a password. Alternatively, you can use a password. If you have created a HackMotion account with an external service (Google, Apple ID or Facebook), press the corresponding logo. Note that external service logins will be removed in the future so you will be asked to verify an email address when signing in this way.

If the account was created by using your email address, open the HackMotion app and press Sign in with email > Forgot password? and enter your email address. A password reset link will be sent to your inbox.

If you don't recall the email address used to create your account or encounter any other issues, please contact HackMotion support.

The data is stored for each account separately. If you notice data is missing for specific sessions, it is possible that a different account was used to collect the data. This can happen if you use multiple devices with the same sensor and use different ways to sign in. To make sure you are signed in the same account on all devices, open the HackMotion app, go to Settings > Account information and compare the Account ID for all devices.

You can sign in by using Google, Facebook or Apple ID authentication. Note that Google sign in is only available on Android devices, and Apple ID is only available on iOS devices.

If you wish to access your account from any device, you can add email address authentication to your account by opening the HackMotion app Settings > Account information > Email & password > Mail.
